Valor Mortis launches October 13 at 10:00 a.m. PDT (14:00 ART), with New Game+ due later this year

Valor Mortis now has an hour. In a Steam news post on October 9, 2026, One More Level — the studio behind Ghostrunner — published the release-times map for its first-person soulslike: Tuesday, October 13, at 10:00 a.m. PDT. That is 14:00 in Argentina (ART) and 17:00 UTC.

The game is published by Lyrical Games, and its Steam page casts the player as a former soldier of Napoleon’s army, risen from death. One More Level credits feedback from a public playtest held a year ago with shaping the combat, the level design and the boss fights.

What time Valor Mortis unlocks

The map lists these times, with Steam, PS5 and Xbox marks on it:

The PlayStation listing dates the PS5 version October 13, names Lyrical Games as publisher and marks it PS5 Pro Enhanced.

Japan is the exception on PlayStation. On October 8, the official Valor Mortis account wrote on X that “due to pending regional classification ratings, Valor Mortis is currently unavailable on PlayStation in Japan,” adding that players there “can still obtain the game via Steam and XBOX” and that the team is “actively addressing the situation.” It gave no new date.

Day one on Game Pass

Xbox Wire’s October 7 roundup lists Valor Mortis on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from October 13, “available on day one,” on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld and PC. Xbox Wire gives the date but no hour.

After launch: New Game+, French voice-over, a 2027 story DLC

The same post sketches the roadmap. “Later this year, we’ll add a New Game+ mode where you’ll take your progression and loot after completing the campaign once, but for a second, more challenging attempt,” One More Level writes, promising “stronger enemies, more difficulty and new surprises.” No date beyond later this year.

The studio also wants a fully voiced French version. It “wasn’t something we could complete before launch but we definitely want to add it later on.” That is an intent, with no date attached.

The Deluxe Edition, per the image in the post, bundles the base game, the La Grande Armée Weapon Skin Pack (Pistol, Blunderbuss, Musket, Claymore, Rapier, Sabre), three upcoming weapon skin packs and a Major Story DLC “arriving in 2027”, which One More Level describes as “a complete side story, separate from the main campaign.”

The voice cast is set too: in an October 8 Steam post, the studio confirms Vincent Cassel as Napoleon Bonaparte and Jennifer English as The Shrike.

What to watch on Tuesday: whether all three storefronts flip at 14:00 ART as the map says, when PS5 in Japan clears its rating, and when the New Game+ update gets a date.
