## Key points

- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is scheduled for November 5, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2, per the Nintendo US store.
- The store lists it as a Switch 2 exclusive, built from the ground up, with overhauled visuals, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, symphonic orchestral music, and enhanced controls / modern camera.
- Publisher Nintendo; single-player; estimated file size 27 GB on the same listing.
- There is no Nintendo product titled A Grain of Time on the store or news primaries reviewed for this brief.

*The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time* is scheduled for **November 5, 2026**, on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo's [US store listing](https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/the-legend-of-zelda-ocarina-of-time-switch-2/) locks that window ("Releases 11/5/26") and frames the title as a **Switch 2 exclusive**. That is the wire: a publisher store date and one confirmed platform.

One title hygiene note: there is **no** Nintendo product titled "A Grain of Time" on the store or news primaries reviewed for this brief. The dated Switch 2 title is Ocarina of Time only.

## What the store claims (Nintendo wording)

The same listing describes a classic tale built **from the ground up** for Switch 2, with **overhauled visuals**, **voiced cutscenes**, **expanded dialogue**, **symphonic orchestral music**, and **enhanced controls / modern camera**. Publisher: Nintendo. Single-player. Estimated file size: **27 GB**.

That is Nintendo's remake language — not an invented remaster-versus-remake taxonomy. Regional news (for example Nintendo's [MY article](https://www.nintendo.com/my/news/article/5DhklFO5QrFLdxh157GbhN)) uses "reborn" framing for Switch 2 in 2026; the **date lock** for this brief still comes from the US store.

## Product-adjacent notes (store-stated only)

Publisher notifications on the product page mention **ZELDA NOTES** via the Nintendo Switch App, extras for existing Zelda amiibo, and **Young Link / Young Zelda amiibo coming in 2027** for retro-style masks. Those are store-stated product notes. Exact Direct announce day was not independently re-locked beyond store and regional news for this brief — leave it blank rather than guess.

If the store date moves, Nintendo moves it first. Until then, November 5, 2026 on Switch 2 is the Ocarina lock.
